The Neumann MC 6 is the universal clamp clip in Neumann's Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the modular clip-on instrument microphone range used for live sound, theatre, broadcast and studio recording of acoustic instruments. The MCM system combines a KK 14 capsule head, an SH 100 or SH 150 gooseneck, a connection cable, an MCM 100 output stage and an instrument-specific clip. The MC 6 is the most versatile of these clips: a spring clamp that attaches the capsule and gooseneck to the bell of a trumpet, trombone, saxophone or other horn, to percussion instruments, and to pole stands. It is the clip supplied in Neumann's MCM 114 Set Brass/Sax/Uni and is sold separately as a spare or for adding extra mounting options to an existing system. Only the clip is included; the capsule, gooseneck, cable and output stage must be purchased separately. It is finished in black to stay discreet on stage.
