The Neumann Monitor Alignment Kit 1 (cat. no. 509134) bundles a KH 750 DSP D G subwoofer with the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment measurement microphone, giving studios a ready-made way to add deep bass and automatic room correction to an existing pair of Neumann monitors. The KH 750 DSP is a compact closed-cabinet subwoofer with a 10-inch long-throw driver, 256 W amplifier, 2.0/0.1 bass management with an 80 Hz crossover, two balanced XLR inputs and outputs and an AES3/S/PDIF digital input; it reaches 18 - 750 Hz (+/-3 dB) and measures 383 x 330 x 383 mm, 19.5 kg. Its DSP can also align analogue Neumann monitors connected to it. The MA 1 microphone is an individually calibrated omnidirectional measurement mic (20 Hz - 20 kHz, XLR, 48 V phantom), used with Neumann's free MA 1 software for Mac and PC to measure the room at several listening positions and calculate amplitude and phase correction automatically.
