The Neumann NU 67 V (cat. no. 008679) is the dedicated power supply for Neumann U 67 valve (tube) condenser microphones, supplied as a replacement or spare for studios that own a U 67. It generates all the operating voltages the U 67 needs and is fully compatible with older U 67 microphones as well as the current reissue. The classic transformer-based design switches automatically between 100 - 120 V and 220 - 240 V mains at 50/60 Hz, and a current-limited soft start protects the valve. Mains connects through a standard IEC C14 socket, the microphone connects via a UC 5 cable (up to 50 m long), and the audio leaves on a transformer-balanced XLR 3 male output, with total signal cable runs of around 300 m possible. Neumann includes three mains cables for EU, UK and US sockets. The steel housing with carry handle measures 120 x 100 x 220 mm (H x W x D) and weighs approximately 2 kg. Note that the microphone and the UC 5 connecting cable are not included.
