Neumann TLM 102 Large Diaphragm Microphone, Nickel, Cardioid Directional Characteristic

The Neumann TLM 102 is Neumann's most compact and affordable large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone, shown here in the classic nickel finish. Designed and built in Germany, it pairs a genuine Neumann large-diaphragm capsule and fixed cardioid pattern with a transformerless output stage and an integrated pop screen. The sound is clear and focused with a very linear midrange and a gentle lift around 10 kHz. Self-noise is just 12 dB-A and it handles up to 144 dB SPL without distortion, making it a versatile choice for vocals, guitars, bass, drums, percussion, brass and saxophone in home, project and professional studios. It requires 48 V phantom power via XLR. Size is 52 mm diameter by 116 mm long, weight about 210 g. Catalogue number 008626 includes the TLM 102 microphone and the SG 2 swivel stand mount; the EA 4 shock mount is available separately.
