The Neutrik NAC3MM powerCON coupler (current Neutrik part NAC3MM-1) is an in-line adapter that joins two powerCON mains cables. One side mates with a blue powerCON power-in cable connector (NAC3FCA) and the other side with a grey powerCON power-out cable connector (NAC3FCB), so two cable runs can be linked into a longer one, or a powerCON link cable can be extended between loudspeakers, lighting fixtures, amplifiers and power distribution on stage. powerCON is Neutrik's locking three-conductor AC connector with line, neutral and a pre-mating earth contact, widely used on professional audio and lighting equipment in place of standard IEC appliance couplers wherever a rugged, locking connection is needed. The coupler is rated at 16 A and 250 V AC per contact, uses Neutrik's Quick Lock mechanism, and is rated for more than 1,000 mating cycles. The housing is glass-reinforced polyamide (UL 94 V-0) with silver-plated bronze contacts, it is IP20 when mated, and it operates from -30 to +80 degrees Celsius. Always ensure power is off when connecting or disconnecting, as powerCON (non-TRUE1) connectors must not be mated or unmated under load.
