The Neutrik NAC3MXWTOP (listed by Neutrik as NAC3MX-W-TOP) is the male cable connector from the powerCON TRUE1 TOP range: a locking, weather-sealed true mains connector used to build rugged power cables for lighting fixtures, LED screens, powered speakers and other stage and outdoor equipment. Unlike an ordinary IEC appliance coupler it locks in place and has circuit breaking capability, so it can be connected or disconnected under load. It is a single-phase 2 + PE connector rated 16 A 250 V AC in Europe (20 A under UL), wired with screw terminals for 1.0 to 2.5 mm² conductors, and its locking bushing and strain relief take cable diameters from 6 to 12 mm. The shell and insert are glass-reinforced, UV-resistant polyamide rated UL 94 V-0, with silver-plated contacts and a lifetime of more than 5,000 mating cycles over -30 to +80 degrees C. It is certified to IEC/UL 60320-1, so it can be used in cord sets and equipment built to IEC 62368-1. Neutrik now lists this part as phase-out, with the NAC3M-TRUE1-S as its direct successor. It pairs with the female NAC3FXWTOP cable connector or TRUE1 chassis inlets. Sold as a single connector; cable not included.
