The Neutrik NLT4MXX-BAG is a 4-pole male speakON cable connector from Neutrik's heavy-duty STXX series, designed for rugged amplifier-to-loudspeaker connections in professional touring and rental. It has an all-metal zinc die-cast housing with a black chrome finish, a glass-reinforced V-0 polyamide insert, Neutrik's Quick Lock locking system and a chuck-type strain relief for cables of 9 to 16 mm outside diameter. Extra-large solder contacts accept wires up to 6 mm² (AWG 10), making it suitable for heavy-gauge speaker cable on long runs and high-power systems. Contacts are copper alloy with silver plating, each rated at 30 A rms continuous and 250 V AC, and the connector is rated for more than 5,000 mating cycles. A built-in gasket gives IP54 weather protection when mated, useful for outdoor events. It is IEC 61984 certified and IEC 62368-1 compliant, and works from -30 to +80 °C. Neutrik stresses that speakON must not be used for mains power. The "-BAG" suffix denotes single-unit bag packaging.
