Neutrik XLR 3 Pin Male Cable

The Neutrik NC3MXX is a 3-pole male XLR cable connector from Neutrik's XX series, the successor to the long-standing X series, with a nickel-plated zinc diecast shell, silver-plated contacts and a black polyurethane boot. It is the plug end for microphone leads, balanced line cables and 3-pin DMX lighting cables, and is a staple for sound engineers, hire companies, studios and installers who build their own leads. The XX series adds an improved chuck-type strain relief with higher pull-out force, a locking recess without a window for a sturdier housing, and a protected internal thread. It takes cables of 3.5 to 8 mm diameter and wire up to 2.5 mm² (14 AWG), soldered. Neutrik rates it at 16 A per contact, over 10 GΩ insulation resistance, 1.5 kV DC dielectric strength, IP40, UL94 V-0, more than 1,000 mating cycles and -30 to +80 °C. Supplied as a single connector; cable not included.
