Nichiban 1200 is a professional gaffer tape from the Japanese tape maker Nichiban, supplied here as a 50mm wide, 25m roll in black. The Type 1200 is one of the best-known gaffer tapes in the stage, rental and broadcast industry. It has a woven, linen-like structure whose threads give it high strength, yet it tears cleanly by hand both across the roll and along its length, which makes it quick to use when taping cables, cutting narrow strips for labelling or marking positions. It is waterproof, has strong adhesion, and is designed to leave no glue residue when removed from floors, staging, flight cases and cable jackets.
