Garmin Panoptix LiveScope LVS62XR Transducer Only
The Panoptix LiveScope LVS62XR is the extended-range (XR) transducer in Garmin's LiveScope live sonar family, sold here as the transducer alone without the GLS 10 sonar processing black box it needs to run. LiveScope technology gives anglers a real-time, video-like view of fish, structure and their own lure or bait moving through the water column — a fundamentally different experience from traditional CHIRP or side-scan sonar, which shows historical returns rather than a live feed. The XR designation identifies this as Garmin's longer-range LiveScope transducer variant, built to image further from the boat/transducer than the standard LVS32/34 units.
Because it's sold as the transducer only, this unit is intended for an angler who already owns (or is separately buying) a compatible GLS 10 black box, or who is replacing/upgrading an existing LiveScope transducer without needing a second processing unit. LiveScope transducers like this one can typically be mounted on a trolling motor shaft (for scanning ahead as the boat moves) or on a transom/pole mount, and support Forward, Down and Perspective imaging modes so the same transducer covers scouting structure ahead of the boat as well as watching directly beneath it. This system is aimed squarely at serious freshwater and inshore anglers who want to actually see fish react to a bait in real time rather than interpret a static sonar return.
