The PCBuilder Apex is an electric height-adjustable standing desk built for gaming and home-office setups that want the health benefit of alternating between sitting and standing through the day. It has a 140 x 70cm worktop — large enough to comfortably fit a wide gaming monitor or dual-monitor setup, a full-size keyboard and mouse, and a PC tower or peripherals alongside it, without everything feeling cramped. Height adjustment is handled by an electric motor rather than a manual hand-crank, letting the desktop be raised or lowered smoothly at the press of a button between a low seated-typing height and a full standing height, which matters for genuinely being used daily rather than left permanently in one position because adjusting it is a hassle. Being a dedicated "gaming" branded model in PCBuilder's lineup, it's built with a sturdy frame designed to stay stable under a monitor, PC and peripherals during use rather than wobbling at typing height the way some budget standing desks do at full extension. It's aimed at anyone building a serious desk setup who wants sit-stand flexibility without sacrificing worktop space.
