The Pixel Plus 4K HDMI 2.0 Fibre Optic Extender Kit (PIX-OPT-4K-KIT) sends uncompressed HDMI 2.0 video with embedded audio over optical fibre, for runs far beyond the reach of copper HDMI or HDBaseT. It is used in stadiums, conference centres, campuses, broadcast and rental staging where a source and display are hundreds of metres apart. The kit supports up to 4K60 8-bit 4:4:4 or 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 with up to 18 Gbps uncompressed bandwidth, and reaches up to 600 m for 4K and up to 2,500 m for Full HD over fibre with standard SC connectors. It carries up to eight embedded audio channels, supports HDR10 and HLG, and frame rates up to 144 Hz. HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 handshaking, EDID management and a status LED simplify commissioning and troubleshooting. The transmitter and receiver are housed in solid aluminium enclosures for protection and heat dissipation, and can be rack-mounted in Analog Way power trays. Fibre patch cables and any power trays are not included.
