The Plus Audio EMS1 is a lightweight single-ear headset (earset) microphone in black, for presenters, pastors, teachers, fitness instructors, actors and live performers who need a discreet, hands-free vocal mic that stays put while they move. It uses a 3.5 mm subminiature omnidirectional back-electret condenser capsule on a rigid boom, with a firm earhook for a secure fit, and covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of -45 dBV/Pa, 130 dB maximum SPL and 30 dB(A) self-noise. The earset is dust and sweat resistant to IP65, which suits gyms and hot stages. It plugs into a wireless bodypack transmitter; adapter cables for Shure and Sennheiser systems are included, making it easy to fit into most existing wireless setups (it runs on 1.5 to 12 V bias). The thin 1.4 mm cable is 1.2 m long, and the mic head weighs only 2.5 g. Two windscreens and a protective carry case are included. Plus Audio is a South African pro-audio brand.
