The Plus Audio ET118B is a passive single 18-inch subwoofer from the Easytour (ET) series by South African pro-audio brand Plus Audio. It is designed as the low-frequency partner for the ET110L mid-high cabinet, forming a compact full-range PA for small to medium events, churches, clubs and installations, whether ground-stacked, pole-mounted or flown. The 18-inch ferrite driver with a 4-inch voice coil reaches down to 35 Hz (-10 dB), with a frequency response of 35 - 150 Hz, 100 dB sensitivity (1 W / 1 m), an AES power rating of 800 W at 4 ohms and a maximum SPL of 135 dB. The enclosure is multilayer birch plywood finished in black polyurethane paint, with a black steel grille backed by acoustic foam, and connection is via a single Neutrik NL4MP (pins 1+/1-). As a passive cabinet it needs external amplification - for example the AC1P module built into the powered ET118BA, which Plus Audio says can drive an additional passive ET118B, or a suitable rack amplifier. It weighs 59 kg and measures 778 x 527 x 729 mm (H x W x D).
