The Plus Audio MPS15A is a 15-inch two-way active (powered) loudspeaker from the MPS series, a multipurpose point-source box for live bands, DJs, churches, schools, conference venues, installations and mobile PA. It pairs a 15 inch low-frequency driver with a 1.35 inch compression driver using a high-polymer diaphragm, driven by fanless, passively cooled Class D amplification rated at 1,000 W RMS (2,000 W peak), for a maximum SPL of 130 dB and a frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz with 90 x 70 degree dispersion. A 2.4 inch colour LCD and an Android/iOS app over Bluetooth give access to DSP: channel and master volume and mute, bass and treble shelving EQ, 4-band parametric EQ, a 20-150 Hz low-cut, up to 100 m of delay, ducking, sound modes (Live, Club, Speech, Flat) and setup presets for pole, monitor or bracket use. Inputs are two XLR/jack combo sockets plus Bluetooth audio with True Wireless Stereo linking, with an XLR link/mix output. The injection-moulded cabinet has a 35 mm pole socket and three M10 rigging points, measures 703 x 430 x 403 mm and weighs 21.5 kg.
