Procab Metal contractor guiding jig

Procab Metal contractor guiding jig
More Info

The Procab HDM865 is a spare metal guiding jig for Procab's Contractor Series of field-terminated HDMI cables. The Contractor system lets AV installers pull a bare HDMI cable through conduit, walls or ceilings where a moulded HDMI plug would not fit, and then fit the connector on site afterwards using Procab's solderless crimp method rather than soldering. Procab describes the HDM865 as the coloured metal guiding jig that is required to fix a Contractor series connector to its cable - it holds and aligns the parts during assembly so the connector can be crimped correctly with the HDM800 crimping tool. Having a spare jig is useful for installation teams working with several technicians or kits, or to replace one that has been lost or damaged. Procab lists the HDM800 HDMI crimping tool and the CTV100 HDMI tool kit as related products, and installations can be checked with a cable tester afterwards. Typical users are integrators fitting boardrooms, classrooms, churches and home cinemas.
