The Procab HDM100/15 is a 15-metre pre-made, open-ended HDMI contractor cable for AV installers running HDMI through walls, ceilings, trunking and conduit, where a fully moulded HDMI plug is too big to pull through. One end comes factory-terminated with an HDMI connector, and the other end is left open. A separate, unattached HDMI connector kit (connector, cable holders and metal shell) is supplied in the bag, so the installer pulls the bare end through the building and then fits the second connector on site. This saves drilling large holes and avoids joining cables mid-run. This 15 m length uses Procab's thicker 24 AWG HDMI cable (the HDM24 type), which suits longer runs than the thinner 28 AWG versions used for short lengths. It is part of Procab's Classic Series for AV and IT installations. Procab also sells the HDM800 crimping tool and CTV100 HDMI tool kit to fit the loose connector. Procab lists the 15 m variant as discontinued, so this is remaining stock.
