The Procab HDM100/20 is a 20 metre pre-made, open-ended HDMI contractor cable from Procab's Contractor Series, made for installers who need to pull HDMI through conduit, walls or ceilings where a moulded plug won't fit. One end comes with an HDMI connector already fitted. The other end is bare, and the bag includes a separate unattached connector (connector, cable holders and metal shell) that is fitted on site after the cable is pulled through, using Procab's solderless crimp system with the HDM800 crimping tool. At 20 m it uses Procab's heavier HDM24 cable (24 AWG). The Contractor Series is specified as High Speed with Ethernet with gold-plated connectors and 1080p HD video up to 20 m. Typical uses are boardrooms, classrooms, churches and home cinemas where a display or projector is mounted far from the source. Installation is completed and checked with Procab's HDM900 tester.
