The PXN VD4 is a genuine direct-drive wheelbase bundle sitting a step above the entry-level V12 Lite, built around a 20-pole low-inertia servo motor delivering 4Nm of continuous torque and 5Nm at peak — noticeably more responsive and detailed than a belt or gear-driven wheel thanks to the direct-drive design removing mechanical play entirely. A 24-bit magnetic encoder and multi-core processor run PXN's own Sense+ force feedback algorithm, which is built to reproduce fine road texture, tyre slip and cornering load rather than just generic resistance. The bundle includes the W AS wheel — an 11-inch (28cm) lightweight aluminium-alloy-framed wheel wrapped in microfibre leather, with 19 programmable buttons, 2 rotary encoders, and 4 aluminium paddle shifters (2 magnetic, 2 analog linear) — alongside a PD HM 2-pedal set (Hall-effect throttle and brake) and a Z8 table clamp for desk mounting. It's a genuinely complete direct-drive starter package rather than a bare wheelbase, and is compatible with PC and major consoles.
