Radial Engineering Radial Catapult MINI RX 4ch cat-5 mini breakout box to XLR-M tails, uses shielded cat-5

The Radial Catapult Mini RX (order no. R800 8029) is the receiving end of Radial's compact passive four-channel Cat 5 audio snake. It takes four balanced analogue channels arriving over a single shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable at its RJ45 connector and breaks them out to four male XLR tails, ready to plug into a mixer, stagebox or amplifier. Use it with the Catapult Mini TX (female XLR tails) at the source end, or with any other Radial Catapult module, as all are compatible, for example a full-size Catapult TX4 on stage and the Mini RX at front of house. Signals stay in the analogue domain with a straight-wire connection, so there is no digital conversion or power required, and existing building network cabling can be reused to move audio between rooms. The body is 16-gauge steel, with mesh-sheathed tails and colour-coded heatshrink labels for each channel. It suits churches, schools, conference facilities and live sound rigs. Cat 5 cable and the transmitting unit are sold separately.
