Radial Engineering Radial Catapult TX4 4ch transmitter, with balanced i/o, uses shielded cat-5
More Info

The Radial Catapult TX4 (part R800 8022 00) is the four-channel transmit module of Radial's Catapult analogue audio snake system, which sends four balanced mic- or line-level signals over a single shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable instead of a bulky multicore. It is completely passive: the XLR inputs are wired straight through to a Neutrik etherCON RJ45 connector, with no power or digital conversion, so audio passes without colouration. Four XLR thru outputs let you split the signals locally, a second RJ45 thru feeds further Catapult modules, a ground lift helps eliminate ground-loop noise, and bumpers protect the connectors. It pairs with any Catapult receiver - the RX4, RX4M or RX4L, Catapult Mini RX or Catapult Rack - sold separately. Typical uses are stage sub-snakes, return lines at corporate events, and using a building's existing Cat 5 wiring to move audio between rooms. It is built in a rugged 14-gauge steel enclosure with a carry handle.
