More Info

The Radial DiNET DAN-TX (part R800 1062 00) is a two-channel Dante network transmitter, effectively a stereo direct box that puts instruments, laptops, tablets, playback devices or any line-level source straight onto a Dante audio network over a standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It is used in churches, conference venues, theatres and installed sound systems where a mixer or DSP is networked via Dante. Inputs include dual 1/4-inch jacks (balanced TRS or unbalanced TS), stereo RCA and a 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack, wired in parallel; when set to instrument mode the 1/4-inch jacks become a mono instrument input with a thru output for feeding an on-stage amplifier. A trim control gives plus or minus 10 dB of adjustment, with a -18 dB pad and high-pass filter switches, and the unit accepts levels up to +24 dBu. Conversion is 24-bit/96 kHz. It can be powered by Power over Ethernet or the included 15 V DC Radial adapter, and has signal/clip, PoE, power, system and sync LEDs. It is made in Canada. Radial lists the DAN-TX as discontinued.
