Radial Engineering Radial ProD8 8-ch passive DI for keyboards, 1RU 19" rackmount, reversible rack ears

The Radial ProD8 (R800 1120 00) is an 8-channel passive direct box in a single 1U 19-inch rack space, built for touring keyboard rigs, backing-track playback and studios. Each channel converts an unbalanced instrument or line signal to a balanced, low-impedance XLR output for the stage snake or console, using a custom Eclipse ET-DB2 transformer (12:1) that provides impedance matching, balancing and full galvanic isolation to eliminate ground-loop hum and buzz. Because it is passive it needs no power, and the transformer saturates gently rather than clipping harshly when hit hard by modern digital keyboards. Every channel has dual 1/4-inch inputs that are summed, allowing a backup rig or stereo-to-mono merge, plus an input pad, 180-degree polarity reverse and ground lift, and a TRS insert for effects. Reversible rack ears let the tech put either the 1/4-inch inputs or the XLR outputs on the front. Specifications include 20 Hz - 18.5 kHz (+/-0.2 dB) response, 0.01% THD, 140 kohm input and 150 ohm output impedance and a +18 dB maximum input. It measures 483 x 159 x 45 mm and weighs 3.26 kg.
