More Info

The Radial Tonebone Plexitube (part R800 7025 00) is a true-bypass, dual-channel guitar distortion pedal that uses a real 12AX7 tube to produce high-gain, low-noise 'Plexi'-style British amp tones. It is aimed at electric guitarists who want the warmth and harmonic richness of a valve amp's overdrive from a pedalboard. The two channels can be set up as clean-rhythm and lead sounds with independent level controls, and a toggle footswitch changes between them while a separate footswitch gives true bypass so your dry tone is untouched when the effect is off. Powerful post-distortion EQ includes high, low, contour and voicing controls, a top-end switch and a mid-boost, and channel 2 has an insert loop for adding effects pedals. Construction uses full-size discrete parts on a double-sided board with a ground plane, high-lifecycle footswitches and steel-shafted pots in a 14-gauge steel case with baked enamel finish. It runs from a 15 V DC 400 mA supply (included per the listing), measures 207 x 108 x 54 mm and weighs about 1 kg. Note: Radial lists the Plexitube as discontinued, so this is likely remaining stock.
