Garmin Reactor 40 Hydraulic Corepack w/GHC 50

The Reactor 40 Hydraulic Corepack is Garmin's core autopilot electronics module for hydraulically-steered powerboats, sold here bundled with a GHC 50 autopilot display. At its heart is a solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), which can be mounted in virtually any orientation on the boat rather than needing to be precisely level, simplifying installation compared with older mechanical-gyro autopilot cores. Power draw is under 1A on standby and 5-10A while actively steering, with a peak of 34A during hard rudder movements.
On the hydraulic side, the corepack supports a configurable flow rate from 0 to 2.4 litres per minute and is compatible with steering cylinder sizes from 4 to 24 cubic inches, covering a wide range of powerboat hydraulic steering systems. It includes sailing-oriented features (heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, step turns) even though this corepack is the hydraulic powerboat variant, reflecting Garmin's shared Reactor 40 software across its corepack range, and — like every Reactor 40 corepack — includes Garmin's patented Shadow Drive technology, letting the captain instantly regain manual control simply by turning the wheel. The bundled GHC 50 display offers a 5-inch sunlight-readable touchscreen with an edge-to-edge glass design matching Garmin's larger GPSMAP x3 and 8600-series chartplotters, giving a consistent look and feel at the helm.
