Garmin Reactor 40 Hydraulic w/o GHC corepack

The Garmin Reactor 40 Hydraulic is a marine autopilot system for boats with hydraulic steering, sold here without the GHC corepack/control head - i.e. the core hydraulic drive and control electronics only, for an installer or boat owner adding it to an existing Garmin chartplotter/display setup rather than needing a brand-new dedicated autopilot instrument. It's rated for boats under 30 feet, and its 1.2L pump variant suits hydraulic steering systems in the 6-14 cubic inch range.
At the heart of the Reactor system is a solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), which lets the Corepack control unit be mounted virtually anywhere on the boat in any orientation while still delivering accurate heading and motion sensing - a real installation-flexibility advantage over older autopilots that needed a specific, level mounting location. It also includes Garmin's patented Shadow Drive technology: the captain can grab the helm and manually steer at any time, and the system automatically re-engages autopilot once a steady course is held again, without needing to press a button first. Since it's sold without the GHC control head, it's built to be controlled through a compatible Garmin chartplotter, GHC 50 instrument, or a connected smart device instead. A 2-year manufacturer warranty is included with the system.
