This Samsung QLED television is a 98-inch flagship model in Samsung's Q7F line, using Quantum Dot colour technology to deliver Samsung's advertised 100% colour volume, meaning the panel maintains full colour saturation and accuracy even at maximum brightness rather than colours washing out in bright HDR scenes as they can on lesser panels. It's driven by Samsung's Q4 AI processor, which upscales lower-resolution content to the panel's native 4K UHD (3840x2160) resolution and adjusts picture and sound settings in real time based on the content being played.
At 98 inches this is a genuine home-theatre centrepiece TV rather than a standard living-room set, and it carries Samsung's broader smart-TV feature set: Samsung Knox security (hardware-backed protection against malware and unauthorised access, extended from Samsung's phone security platform to its TVs), Adaptive Sound that adjusts audio output based on the content and room, and Samsung Vision AI features for personalised recommendations and voice interaction, all running on Samsung's Tizen smart TV operating system. Connectivity includes 4 HDMI ports (enough for a soundbar, game console, streaming box and Blu-ray/set-top box simultaneously without a switcher) and 2 USB ports for media playback or firmware updates, and Samsung's Quantum HDR processing extends dynamic range handling on supported HDR content.
