This Samsung 98-inch UHD TV is a large-format 4K display built for genuinely big-room or commercial-style viewing — boardrooms, showrooms, large lounges — where a screen well beyond typical 55-65 inch consumer sizes is the point. It runs Samsung's Crystal Processor 4K engine paired with PurColor technology for wide, accurate colour reproduction, and UHD Dimming to improve contrast and black levels across the panel without the cost of full local-dimming backlighting. HDR10+ support is included, extending dynamic range and scene-by-scene brightness and colour metadata on supported content, and Motion Xcelerator technology sharpens fast-moving footage — sports, action content, and gaming — reducing motion blur that's more noticeable on very large panels.

More Info

As a Tizen-based Smart TV, it runs Samsung's own smart platform directly with no separate streaming box required, and it's built with Auto Game Mode, automatically optimising picture settings the moment a games console is detected, plus Q-Symphony, letting the TV's own speakers work together with a compatible Samsung soundbar rather than one replacing the other — both aimed at gaming and home-entertainment setups rather than purely passive viewing. Audio is handled by a built-in 20W 2.0-channel sound system with Adaptive Sound and OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite, which shifts the perceived audio position to match on-screen action) for reasonable built-in sound at this scale without a separate soundbar. Connectivity covers 3 x HDMI and 1 x USB plus Bluetooth for wireless audio devices, and the panel uses Samsung's slim-look industrial design, more in keeping with a premium living space or corporate install than a bulky legacy panel of this size.
