The Schill GT 450.RM is a professional empty cable drum from Schill's GT Series, made of special rubber and fitted with an auxiliary spool (the "RM" version). It is used by broadcast, film, event and installation crews to store, transport and deploy long runs of audio, video, DMX, fibre or network cable without kinks or tangles. The special rubber construction is highly impact-resistant and robust enough for daily touring and outside-broadcast use, and the auxiliary spool provides extra space for the cable end, connectors or a second short cable. The drum measures approximately 445 mm high with a 295 mm core diameter and a width of 177 mm, and weighs about 5.6 kg empty. The GT 450 is part of Schill's Professional Line, which offers accessories such as retaining rings, front panels for mounting connectors and travel columns. The drum is supplied without cable, so it can be filled with the cable of your choice; the usable length depends on cable diameter. Made in Germany by Schill GmbH & Co. KG (part no. 280 39 000 000).
