The Securnix DC Female Connector cable is a short 25cm pigtail with a moulded DC barrel socket on one end and bare red and black leads on the other, used for CCTV and other 12V power wiring. Installers fit it at the power-supply end of a camera run: the bare red (positive) and black (negative) wires are terminated into a CCTV power supply, a multi-channel power box or a pre-built cable, and the camera's own DC plug then pushes straight into the socket. That gives a neat, removable connection instead of a hand-twisted joint, makes it easy to swap or test cameras later, and reduces the risk of reversed polarity thanks to the colour-coded leads. The 25cm length fits comfortably inside a junction box. It is a cheap, useful spare for repairs and new installs, and pairs with the matching Securnix DC Male Connector cable. Check the barrel size suits your camera before installing.
