The Securnix TR-58502 is a 300-metre wooden drum of Siamese CCTV cable. It combines an RG59 coaxial video cable and a two-core power cable joined side by side, so a single pull carries both the camera's video signal and its 12V DC supply. RG59 is the standard coax for analogue and HD-over-coax CCTV (AHD, HD-TVI, HD-CVI). It is designed for these lower-frequency video signals rather than satellite or TV RF, which keeps it flexible and easy to terminate with twist-on or crimp BNC connectors. The conductors are copper-clad aluminium (CCA). This keeps the cost per metre down for installers wiring up multiple cameras, but CCA has higher resistance than solid copper, so on long runs it is worth budgeting for voltage drop on the power pair or powering cameras from a supply closer to the camera. The black jacketed cable comes on a wooden drum that pays out cleanly during installation. It is aimed at South African security installers and DIY users fitting out homes, small businesses and complexes. Esquire lists it with no warranty.
