Sennheiser Senneiser Half wave Dipole (Q), Antenna BNC (470-550MHz)
The Sennheiser Half Wave Dipole (Q), article 508868, is a pair of rod antennas for Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital (EW-D) receivers operating in the Q frequency range of 470 to 550 MHz. Half-wave dipole antennas are used in place of the standard short antennas when a stronger, more reliable wireless link is needed, for example on bigger stages, in churches and halls or when the receiver is mounted in a rack. They are omnidirectional and vertically polarised with a typical gain of +2 dBi, so they do not need aiming at the transmitters. Each antenna has a BNC male connector with no DC path and 50 ohm impedance, rated to withstand 2 W. According to Sennheiser's specification the Q is a long antenna of about 8.5 mm diameter and 338 mm length, weighing roughly 48.6 g each. Match the antenna band to the receiver's band before ordering. Delivery includes two rod antennas. Operating temperature is -10 to +55 degrees Celsius and storage -20 to +85 degrees Celsius.
