The Sennheiser A 1031-U (article 004645) is a passive omnidirectional UHF antenna that works for both transmitting and receiving across 450 - 960 MHz, covering the frequency ranges of Sennheiser's analogue and digital UHF wireless microphone and in-ear monitor systems. Mounted away from the receiver rack - typically on a stand - it gives better line-of-sight to performers than the short rod antennas on the receiver, improving range and reliability, and because it is omnidirectional it does not need to be aimed. It has 0 dB gain (passive, no power needed) and connects via BNC to the antenna input, antenna splitter or booster. It is rated for -20 to +80 °C and up to 95% humidity (non-condensing), and weighs around 150 g. Antenna cable and mounting hardware are sold separately.
