The Sennheiser Antenna Cable Cat 5e (25 m) is a 25-metre shielded Cat 5e cable terminated at both ends with rugged Neutrik etherCON (RJ45) connectors, made for Sennheiser's Spectera wideband digital wireless system. In a Spectera installation it links the base station to the DAD (digital antenna device) antennas, carrying data and power over a single run, so antennas can be positioned optimally around a stage, studio or venue far from the rack. The locking etherCON connectors make it suitable for touring and rental use where standard RJ45 plugs would be vulnerable. The cable is black and weighs approximately 1.4 kg. It is also available in 10 m and 50 m lengths for different venue sizes. Typical users are rental companies, theatres, broadcast facilities and large-venue audio teams deploying Spectera. As with any network-type run, route it away from sharp bends and heavy foot traffic, or use cable protection where it crosses walkways.
