Sennheiser ASP 114

The Sennheiser ASP 114 (article 003423) is a passive four-way antenna splitter that shares one antenna signal between four wireless receivers, so four receivers can run from a single pair of remote antennas instead of each needing its own. Because each unit handles one antenna path, a diversity installation normally uses two ASP 114s, one for each antenna. It is a compact metal box made in Germany with BNC connectors: one antenna input and four outputs. The printed label gives a frequency range of 30 to 950 MHz and states it is DC-coupled with a maximum of 0.3 A, which allows DC to pass through to power suitable active antennas or boosters. As a passive device it adds splitting loss, so it suits short antenna cable runs; longer runs or larger systems usually call for an active splitter. Typical users are churches, schools, conference venues and small production companies expanding a Sennheiser wireless system. Sennheiser covers it with a two-year warranty.
