The Sennheiser CL 35 USB-C (article 509262) is a short, coiled audio cable with a locking 3.5 mm TRS plug on one end and a USB-C plug on the other. It is designed to connect Sennheiser's MKE 200 and MKE 400 on-camera microphones, and the receiver of the XS Wireless Digital Portable system (RX 35), directly to a smartphone, tablet or computer with a USB-C port, so video creators, mobile journalists and vloggers can record better sound straight into a phone or laptop. The screw-lock collar on the 3.5 mm end holds the plug firmly in the microphone or receiver so it cannot be pulled out mid-take, and the coiled construction keeps the cable tidy on a camera rig or phone cage while still stretching when needed. Sennheiser lists a length of 225 mm, dimensions of 135 x 15 mm and a weight of just 22 g. The cable comes in Sennheiser's blue colour and is supplied on its own, with a two-year Sennheiser warranty.
