The Sennheiser CL 35-Y (article 700061) is a coiled Y-split audio cable for the EW-DP EK portable camera receiver of Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital Portable system. It runs from a single 3.5 mm TRS plug to two 3.5 mm TRS plugs, so the receiver's output can feed two inputs at once - for example sending the same wireless microphone signal to both the camera and a separate audio recorder, or into both channels of a camera. As shown in Sennheiser's product photo, the plugs are right-angled with screw-locking collars that lock onto the receiver's threaded output socket and stop the connection being pulled out while filming, and the coiled section keeps the cable short and tidy on a rig while still allowing movement. Sennheiser lists it as an accessory for the EW-DP EK and compatible with the EW-DP 835, ME2 and ME4 sets. It weighs 30 g. It is a useful spare or upgrade for videographers, ENG crews and content creators.
