Sennheiser E 608 Dynamic Super Cardioid Flexable Instrument Microphone, XLR-3M, 1.5m

The Sennheiser e 608 (article 004520) is a miniature dynamic super-cardioid instrument microphone on a flexible gooseneck, built for close-miking brass, woodwind, drums and percussion on stage and in the studio. Its newly developed clamp and gooseneck mount let the capsule sit right at the bell or drum head for a realistic, high-output sound, while extensive damping and a shock mount isolate it from vibration and impact noise. A hum-compensating coil guards against induced electrical interference, and the reinforced glass-fibre housing protects the capsule from knocks. Frequency response is 40 - 16,000 Hz, sensitivity 0.8 mV/Pa, nominal impedance 250 ohms, and it connects to a mixer or preamp via a 3-pin XLR on a tear-resistant cable. It measures 17 mm in diameter by 185 mm long and weighs about 20 g, with an operating range of 0 to 40 °C.
