Sennheiser E 865-S Super Cardioid Condenser Microphone, XLR-3M, With On/Off Switch, Mic Clip, Pouch

The Sennheiser e 865-S is the switched version of the e 865 handheld electret condenser vocal microphone from the evolution series. The on/off switch makes it convenient for presenters, MCs, speakers and worship leaders who need to mute between speeches, while the supercardioid pattern and detailed 40 Hz - 20 kHz response suit lead vocals on loud stages with good feedback rejection. Fast transient response captures nuance in the voice, and the rugged all-metal housing with steel inlet basket is built for regular use. It requires 12 - 48 V phantom power and connects via 3-pin XLR. Sensitivity is 3.0 mV/Pa, nominal impedance 200 ohms and minimum terminating impedance 1,000 ohms. The microphone measures Ø 47 x 193 mm and weighs 314 g. It is supplied with a microphone clip and a pouch. For stage use where an accidental switch-off is a risk, the switchless e 865 is also available.
