Sennheiser E 865 Super Cardioid Condenser Microphone, XLR-3M, Microphone Clip, Pouch

The Sennheiser e 865 is a handheld electret condenser vocal microphone from the evolution series, built for lead vocals and live performance as well as presenters and speakers who want a detailed, natural sound. Its supercardioid pickup pattern gives strong feedback rejection and isolation on loud stages, and the 40 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response with fast transient response reproduces subtle vocal nuances. The rugged all-metal housing and steel inlet basket stand up to touring. It requires phantom power (12 - 48 V) and connects via a 3-pin XLR. Sensitivity is 3.0 mV/Pa, nominal impedance 200 ohms and minimum terminating impedance 1,000 ohms. The microphone measures Ø 47 x 193 mm and weighs 314 g. This is the version without an on/off switch; the e 865-S adds a switch. Sennheiser supplies it with a microphone clip and pouch.
