Sennheiser E 902 Dynamic Cardioid Instrument Microphone, For Bass Instruments

The Sennheiser e 902 (article 500199) is a dynamic cardioid microphone tailored to low-frequency instruments such as kick drum, bass guitar amplifiers and tuba. Sennheiser deliberately shaped its frequency response to remove muddiness and self-resonance, giving a tight low-end thump with a clearly defined attack, and it combines very fast transient response with high SPL handling so loud sources do not distort. A hum-compensating coil keeps it quiet near stage power, the capsule is shock-mounted against handling and stand noise, and the reinforced metal housing has an integral stand mount for quick setup. Specifications: 20 - 18,000 Hz, sensitivity 0.2 mV/Pa, nominal impedance 350 ohms, 3-pin XLR output. It measures about 129 x 60 mm and weighs 480 g, and is assembled in Europe.
