The Sennheiser e 908 B-EW (article 500204) is a lightweight clip-on condenser instrument microphone for saxophone, trumpet, trombone and other brass, in the version terminated for Sennheiser's wireless bodypack transmitters. Instead of an XLR it ends in a locking 3.5 mm mini-jack that screws into Evolution Wireless (ew) and compatible bodypacks, so a horn player can move freely on stage. The cardioid capsule sits on a flexible gooseneck held by a secure bell clip; it is shock-mounted against handling noise and handles high SPL with a tight, open condenser sound. Frequency response is 40 - 20,000 Hz, sensitivity 4.0 mV/Pa and nominal impedance 100 ohms. The assembly measures approximately 47 x 193 mm and weighs about 75 g. Note that a wireless transmitter is not included - this is the microphone only.
