Sennheiser EM-XSW 2-B Wideband FM Receiver, True Diversity, Double Superheterodyne, 614-638MHz
The Sennheiser EM-XSW 2-B (article 507316) is the stationary receiver from the XS Wireless 2 range, covering the B frequency range of 614 to 638 MHz. It is sold on its own to expand an existing XS Wireless 2 system or to replace a receiver, and works with XSW 2 handheld and bodypack transmitters on the same range. It is a double-superheterodyne, true-diversity receiver with two external antennas, a rugged metal housing and an LCD display with manual control of frequency, squelch and output level. Frequencies are adjustable in 25 kHz steps, with eight banks of up to 12 preset channels, and transmitters synchronise over a 2.4 GHz link. Audio response is 50 Hz to 16 kHz, with a balanced XLR output (+12 dBu), an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack (+6 dBu) and a switchable 20 dB line/mic level. It runs from a 12 V DC supply and measures about 200 x 42 x 127 mm. Sennheiser covers it with a two-year warranty.
