The Sennheiser EW-D ASA (Q-R-S) is an active antenna splitter for Evolution Wireless Digital systems covering 470 to 694 MHz. It is a dual 1:4 RF splitter: two antenna inputs (A and B, for diversity) are distributed to up to four EW-D or EW-DX receivers, so a multi-channel rack can run from a single pair of antennas instead of a forest of rod antennas. It also supplies DC power to compatible active antennas and antenna boosters, and has RF cascade outputs to link further splitters when building larger systems. Typical users are rental companies, theatres, churches and conference venues running four or more wireless channels. It is designed to sit in a rack alongside the half-rack EW-D receivers. In the box: the EW-D ASA splitter, an NT 12-35 CS power supply and eight BNC antenna cables for connecting the receivers.
