The Sennheiser EW-D Color Coding Set (article 508989) is a pack of coloured identification labels and rings for the Evolution Wireless Digital (EW-D) system. On a stage, in a church or in a conference venue running several wireless channels, it quickly becomes difficult to tell which handheld or bodypack belongs to which receiver. Fitting matching colours to a receiver and its paired transmitter gives presenters and technicians an instant visual link, reducing mix-ups when microphones are handed out or swapped between presenters. This set (EM, SKM-S, SK) covers all three device types: the EW-D EM rack receiver, the EW-D and EW-DX SKM handheld transmitters and the EW-D and EW-DX SK bodypack transmitters. Sennheiser's packshot shows a spread of coloured square labels plus coloured rings in a range of colours so multiple channels can each be given a different colour. Separate sets for only the SK (508990) or only the SKM (508991) also exist; this listing is the combined set. The pack weighs about 50 g and carries Sennheiser's two-year warranty.
