The Sennheiser EW-DP 835 Set (S1-7) is a portable digital UHF wireless handheld microphone system for presenters, interviewers, content creators and small live performances, especially where the receiver mounts on a camera. It includes the compact EW-DP EK single-channel receiver, which mounts on a camera cold shoe or cheese plate, and the EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter fitted with the MMD 835 cardioid dynamic capsule, a robust vocal capsule with good feedback rejection. The system offers 134 dB dynamic range, 24-bit audio and 1.9 ms latency over a stable UHF link with more range than 2.4 GHz systems, and is set up via the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. This S1-7 variant tunes 606.2 to 662 MHz.
