The Sennheiser EW-DP Mounting Plate set (article 700005) is the mounting kit for the EW-DP EK portable camera receiver of Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital Portable (EW-DP) system. Sennheiser describes the set as a mounting plate, mounting screws, a cold shoe mount, an Allen key and a belt clip - the same kit supplied with the receiver - so it serves as a spare or lets you pre-rig a second camera, cage or bag. The plate screws to the back of the EK receiver, and its mounting guide shows it attaching to camera cages, video cameras, DSLR hot shoes, bags and articulating arms; EW-DP components are also designed to be magnetically stackable. The perforated cheese-plate style plate has threaded holes at its corners and centre for flexible positioning, and the cold shoe uses standard ISO 518 mounting dimensions. Sennheiser lists compatibility with the EW-DP 835 Set, ME2 Set, ME4 Set and the EW-DP EK receiver. The set weighs 50 g.
