The Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Pouch (article 700063) is a protective soft pouch for the EW-DP SKP digital plug-on transmitter, part of Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital Portable system. The SKP plugs into the XLR output of a handheld or shotgun microphone and turns it into a wireless microphone; it offers +48 V phantom power, a microSD recording slot and a 3.5 mm lavalier input. The pouch slips over the transmitter to guard its body and controls against knocks, scratches and dirt when a reporter or boom operator is working on location. Sennheiser's product images show a round opening for the XLR connection, a clear window over the transmitter's control panel so the display, record and mute controls can still be seen, and a fabric strap across the top, with Sennheiser branding on the side. Sennheiser lists the pouch at 100 x 57 x 50 mm and 45 g. The SKP transmitter itself (108 x 42 mm, about 163 g) is not included.
