Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 DANTE (S1-10)
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 DANTE (S1-10, article 509358) is a two-channel, half-rack (9.5-inch) digital wireless receiver in the Evolution Wireless Digital family, with a built-in Dante interface for networked audio. It is aimed at meeting rooms, lecture halls, houses of worship and live production where two wireless microphones need to feed a Dante system directly. It pairs with EW-DX handheld, bodypack and table-stand transmitters and tunes 606.2 to 693.8 MHz in the S1-10 variant, with up to 88 MHz switching bandwidth and equidistant spacing for up to 146 channels (293 in Link Density mode). SePAC transmission gives 1.9 ms latency and 135 dB input dynamic range. The metal housing supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af Class 3) or an external 12 V / 1 A PSU, with single-cable, split and redundant network modes. Other features include AES-256 and Dante encryption, an OLED display with jog wheel, a front headphone output (2x 70 mW at 32 ohm), AutoScan frequency setup, and remote control via Control Cockpit, WSM, SoundBase or the Smart Assist app. Power draw is up to 12 W.
