Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 (S1-10)

More Info

The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 (S1-10, article 509344) is a two-channel digital half-rack (9.5-inch) receiver from the Evolution Wireless Digital series, used in live venues, churches, conference centres and rental inventories. Its metal housing contains two independent receivers tuning across 606.2 - 693.8 MHz with up to 88 MHz switching bandwidth, and Sennheiser's SePAC codec gives 1.9 ms latency and a wide input dynamic range so transmitter gain does not need setting. Equidistant channel spacing allows up to 146 channels in Standard mode or 293 in Link Density mode, and AutoScan deploys clean frequencies automatically. It is network-enabled over Ethernet for control through Sennheiser Control Cockpit, WSM, SoundBase and third-party control systems, can be powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 11 - 13 V DC, and supports AES-256 encryption. The front panel has an OLED display, jog wheel and a headphone output (2x 70 mW at 32 ohm), and the Smart Assist app connects over Bluetooth LE. Frequency response is 20 Hz - 20 kHz, it measures 212 x 44 x 189 mm and weighs about 1 kg. Transmitters (SKM-S, SK etc.) are sold separately.
